Damian Gariglio is a graduate from the University of Buenos Aires with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. He majored in International Relations and holds a Masters Degree in International Studies from the Torcuato Di Tella University – during which he spent six months in Colombia on a student exchange program.
He is currently working in Bogota for the Colombian Campaign to ban Landmines as a Humanitarian disarmament adviser. He is also the coordinator of the Observatory of Defence and Security for the Centre for International Political Studies (CEPI).
In the research arena, Damian is currently working as an assistant researcher for the University of Buenos Aires focused on Brazilian Criminal Organizations. He has also worked for the Presidency of Argentina as an International Analyst and researcher focusing on geopolitical and bilateral relations with China and the United States.
