Dr Karen Shalev Greene

Karen Shalev Greene is the founder and Director or the Centre of the Study of Missing Persons at the University of Portsmouth. Her research focuses on Missing Persons and she collaborates with academics, law enforcement agencies and NGOs across the UK and internationally.

Recent research projects focus on unaccompanied migrant minors across the EU, People with dementia who go missing, stranger child abduction and media bias in reporting cases of missing children. She is also the editor of an academic book about missing persons which is due to be released in October 2016.
