Dr Leo Lin is an affiliated lecturer of the IMSISS program (School of Social & Political Sciences) at the University of Glasgow and Director of Research and Policy at the Institute for Asian Crime and Security. His research interests include Asian organised crime, human trafficking, cybercrime, telecommunication fraud, cryptocurrency enforcement, money laundering, terrorist financing, intelligence, war and conflict, and policing. He is a member of the American Society of Criminology, the ECPR Standing Group on Organised Crime (SGOC), the International Association for the Study of Organized Crime, and Criminologist Without Borders. He has published numerous articles in scientific journals, conference proceedings, book chapters, policy papers, and two co-edited books focusing on crime and non-conventional security. He received a Ph.D. from the School of Social Sciences and Global Studies, the University of Southern Mississippi, USA.
