Dr Rebecca Coleman


Dr. Rebecca Coleman is a lecturer in Policing and Criminal Investigation at UCLan, and is a member of UCLan’s Criminal Justice Partnership. She is also seconded to Lancashire Constabulary as a researcher for the evidence based policing hub.

Rebecca studied Psychology at the University of Liverpool, with research experience in the field of serious violence, serious and organised crime, and policing.

She has supported a number of evaluations with local police forces and agencies, with a particular focus on serious and organised crime; the projects included a multi-agency information sharing platform to tackle serious and organised crime, in addition to the diversion of women, and young people, at risk of organised criminality.
