Rose Broad completed my doctoral research in 2013 which focused on people convicted for human trafficking offences and their construction through the criminal justice system. She is currently working with Prof David Gadd on an N8 funded project with Greater Manchester Police based on their Modern Slavery data. She is interested in the pathways into offending for perpetrators of human trafficking and modern slavery offences, law enforcement approaches, organisational responses and the wider social structures that facilitate this activity.
