Prof Jay Albanese

Virginia Commonwealth University

Jay S. Albanese is a professor in the Wilder School of Government & Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University.  He received the Ph.D. from the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University. Dr.

Dr Baris Cayli

University of Derby

Dr Baris Cayli is a Senior Research Fellow in Criminology at the University of Derby. He is currently a Visiting Professor at the Department of Culture and Society, University of Palermo.

Alberto Nieto

University College London

Alberto is completing a PhD programme at the Department of Security and Crime Science at University College London (UCL). His research focuses on the assessment of public policies designed to counteract organised crime in Latin America.

Dr Simon May

Coventry University

Simon is a lecturer of International Relations at Coventry University. He teaches a number of modules on global organised crime, the history of organised crime, and anti-mafia strategies.

Dr Xavier L’Hoiry

University of Sheffield

Xavier is a Lecturer in Criminology and Social Policy at the Department of Sociological Studies, University of Sheffield. Previous to this, he completed his undergraduate law degree at Durham University in 2006.

Dr Martin Wright

Canterbury Christ Church University

Dr Martin Wright is the Academic Director of Anti-Fraud Consultants Ltd. He was a police officer for 30 years before joining the University of Wolverhampton in 2008.
